COUNTY COUNCIL TO CONVENE MAY 5TH FOR SCHEDULED VIRTUAL SESSION; COMMITTEEE OF THE WHOLE TO HOLD FY 21 BUDGET WORK SESSIONS
Committee of the Whole to Review Legislation Addressing Hazard Pay for County Public Safety Officials During COVID-19 Crisis
The Prince George’s County Council, supported by technology, will convene a virtual Council session on Tuesday, May 5th, at 11:00 a.m. The Council’s Committee of the Whole (COW) will meet immediately following Tuesday’s Council session on May 5th (approximately 11:15 a.m.) to review proposed legislation and continue its review of FY 21 Budget work sessions.
The County Council agenda for May 5th includes several pieces of legislation related to hazard pay for Prince George’s County public safety officials, which are scheduled for introduction and referral to COW. The Council will also consider proposed correspondence and vote on legislation concerning the 2018 Water and Sewer Plan.
The Council’s COW FY 21 Budget work sessions include the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission FY 21 Budgets - Department of Parks and Recreation and CIP; and budget presentations from Soil Conservation; Department of Environment; and the Department of Public Works and Transportation.
