The Prince George’s County Council, the Council’s Committee of the Whole (COW) and the Council sitting as the Board of Health, will convene virtually on Tuesday, July 7th.
Council session is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m. with the presentation and introduction of several measures. The Council will also address proposed correspondence and hold public hearings at 1:30 p.m. for CR-045-2020 a Resolution concerning the 2018 Water and Sewer Plan, and again at 5:00 p.m. for legislation concerning the 2021 Annual Action Plan for Housing and Community Development, and the FY 2021 – 2025 Consolidated Plan, CR-046-2020 and CR-047-2020 respectively.
The Council’s COW will convene at 12:30 p.m. to address CR-064-2020, legislation continuing the County’s Declaration of Emergency - Coronavirus, and have discussions on several Board of Education Transfer Requests.
The County Council, sitting as the Board of Health, will convene virtually at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 7th for several briefings, including an introduction of the new CEO of University of Maryland Capital Region Health (UMCRH); COVID-19 and the County’s Health Status; the RAND Study; and Board of Health updates.
