Council to Address Several Measures; Hold Public Hearings
The Prince George’s County Council, supported by technology, will convene a virtual Council session on Tuesday, July 21st at 10:00 a.m.
The County Council agenda for July 21st includes proposed correspondence and the introduction of several measures. Public hearings will be held on over 15 Council Bills, including CB-033-2020, an Ordinance concerning public hearings, and CB-048-2020, legislation proposing an amendment to Section 812 of the County Charter to alter the deadline to set the homestead property tax credit percentage consistent with State law. The Council is also scheduled to vote on a wide range of Council Resolutions, including legislation addressing hazard pay for County employees.
