COUNCIL CHAIR CALVIN HAWKINS AND COUNCIL MEMBER SYDNEY HARRISON PARTNER TO HONOR FRONTLINE COVID-19 HEALTHCARE WORKERS AND GET DISTRICT 9 RESIDENTS VACCINATED
Prince George’s County Council Chair Calvin S. Hawkins, II (At-Large), and District 9 Council Member Sydney Harrison, in partnership with MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital, 4Ever Unified, and Prince George’s County Police T.E.P. (Triad, Explorers and PAL), will honor frontline healthcare workers in the COVID-19 Vaccine Unit, Emergency Room and Intensive Care Unit of Medstar Southern Maryland Hospital with lunch on Friday, March 12th at 1:30 p.m., at the hospital in Clinton, Maryland.
The event will also highlight Council Member Harrison’s partnership with MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital in a community effort to help District 9 residents receive the COVID vaccine. District 9 community members will be onsite receiving COVID vaccinations.
Following COVID-19 public health and safety guidelines, masks and social distancing will be required.
