COUNTY COUNCIL, DISTRICT COUNCIL AND COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE CONVENE VIRTUALLY APRIL 20TH FOR SCHEDULED SESSIONS AND BUDGET PUBLIC HEARING
M-NCPPC Budget Public Hearing – 5:00 p.m.
The Prince George’s County Council, the County Council sitting as the District Council on land use matters and the Council’s Committee of the Whole (COW) will convene virtually on Tuesday, April 20th.
Council Session, scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m., will include a public hearing for the Executive appointment of Ronald Gill to serve as Director of Homeland Security for Prince George’s County, and three Council Resolutions eligible for adoption. District Council will convene at 10:45 a.m. to address two Items Pending Finality.
The COW will convene at 11:00 a.m. for a General Assembly Wrap-Up, to include summaries of Joint Priorities, Statewide and Local bills, and the Operating and Capital Budgets. The COW will also review legislation and conduct budget work sessions for the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC), Department of Parks and Recreation.
The County Council will reconvene at 5:00 p.m. to conduct a public hearing for the N-NCPPC proposed FY 2021-2022 Operating and Capital Budgets and the M-NCPPC Capital Improvement Program for Fiscal Years 2022 – 2027.
