PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY COUNCIL HOSTS PROPERTY STANDARDS ENFORCEMENT, PERMITTING AND INSPECTIONS TOWN HALL EVENT
Residents Encouraged to Share Ideas on Making County Functions More Responsive to Residents and Businesses
The Prince George’s County Council will host a Property Standards, Enforcement, Permitting and Inspections Town Hall Event on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, 6:00 p.m. at the Wayne K. Curry Administration Building, Council Hearing Room, 1301 McCormick Drive in Largo.
Residents and business owners are encouraged to attend the town hall event to share their ideas on how to make property standards, enforcement, permitting and inspection functions of County Government more responsive to the needs of the community. Department of Permitting, Inspections and Enforcement (DPIE) leadership will also be on hand to provide information and respond to participants’ questions.
Council Member Eric C. Olson, Chair of the Council’s Transportation, Infrastructure, Energy and Environment (TIEE) committee, says understanding what residents and businesses are experiencing in permitting and property standard enforcement will help to effectively address their concerns.
"The Council continues its focus on neighborhood quality of life. We are seeking improvements in permitting, inspections, and property standards enforcement, and this town hall event is an opportunity to hear from residents and businesses regarding their experiences, and address concerns. We want to hear from the community as we work to identify areas for improvement. I look forward to the evening’s event and hearing from participants.”
