PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY RE-ENTRY ADVISORY BOARD AND FOOD SECURITY TASK FORCE CONVENE VIRTUALLY FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 12TH
The Prince George’s County Re-Entry Advisory Board and Food Security Task Force will both convene virtually on Friday, February 12, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. respectively.
The Prince George’s County Re-Entry Advisory Board, established by Council Resolution 49-2019, is charged with implementing a comprehensive re-entry program and re-entry services in the County to aid formerly incarcerated persons with acclimating back into society. Friday’s agenda items include subcommittee updates.
Established by CR-062-2020, the Prince George's County Food Security Task Force working to address issues related to the demand and supply of healthy food, and areas with limited access to healthy food, food health connections, school meals, and food security in Prince George's County. During Friday’s meeting, the Task Force will provide updates, and receive presentations from neighboring jurisdictions on how COVID-19 has impacted food systems in the County.
